The following policy applies to reservations made directly with Balaji Home Stay:

The scheduled check-in time stated in your booking confirmation will be used to calculate the cancellation deadline. All timings are calculated in Indian Standard Time (IST).
Example: If your scheduled check-in is at 2:00 PM on 20 October, your cancellation request must reach us by 2:00 PM on 15 October to qualify for a full refund.

We will acknowledge your cancellation and confirm the applicable refund. Eligibility is based on when we receive your cancellation request, rather than when our team responds.
For telephone cancellations, please obtain a written cancellation acknowledgement for your records.
Eligible cancellations will receive a full refund of the accommodation booking amount paid to Balaji Home Stay, without a cancellation fee.
Refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method. If this is not possible, an alternative method will be agreed with the person who made the payment.
Our team will communicate the expected processing time when confirming the refund. The time taken for the amount to appear in your account may depend on the bank or payment provider.
Guests who do not arrive for their confirmed reservation will be treated as a no-show, and the booking payment will be non-refundable.
No refund will be provided for unused nights if a guest checks out before the confirmed departure date.
Changes to check-in dates, check-out dates or the length of stay are subject to availability and management confirmation. Any difference in room rates will be communicated before the change is confirmed.
Submitting a change request does not automatically amend or cancel the original reservation. Any applicable cancellation terms will be communicated before a revised booking is accepted.
For bookings made through online travel platforms or travel agents, the cancellation and refund conditions shown at the time of booking will apply.
Guests should submit cancellation requests through the original booking platform or agent. Where that party collected the payment, refunds will be handled through their process.
If Balaji Home Stay cancels a confirmed reservation and cannot provide the booked accommodation, guests will receive a full refund of the amount paid to us for the accommodation we cannot provide.
Any alternative accommodation or revised dates will be offered only with the guest’s agreement.
Please review this policy before making payment. The cancellation and refund terms provided when your reservation is confirmed will apply to that booking.
Subsequent policy updates will not change the terms of an existing confirmed reservation without the guest’s agreement. This policy does not limit rights available under applicable law.
